Aquatint, drypoint, roulette and burnisher on heliogravure, on Arches laid paper. Signed and dated on the plate. Edition: 425 copies + 25 hors commerce. Nude bust of an old man, hands clasped, head bowed. One of the plates from the first social part of the sequence, before the War section. References: Chapon & Rouault 65; Wofsy 119. Dimensions: sheet 65 x 50 cm; plate 47.6 x 35.8 cm. State: well-inked print, broad brush-flat areas preserved. Full margins, preserved 'barbes'. Ambroise Vollard watermark visible through transparency. Clean sheet, light overall impression. Not framed.
