This Gilera GFR 125 is also referred to as the GFR Replica / Sport Production. Worldwide there are an estimated total of only 431 units produced. Presented at the Bologna fair at the end of 1992 Production details: Period: 1993–1994 Total quantity: About 431 units. Some sources also mention a handful of circa 96 'High Tech' variants. Rarity: It was the very last 2-stroke 125cc street-legal sports motorcycle built by Gilera before the parent company Piaggio halted the production of such two-stroke sport motorcycles. This unit is as good as complete. Only the indicators are missing, and the exhaust is not original. The motorcycle runs, brakes and shifts well, see the videos.
