Graphic Design Annuals.- Holme (Geoffrey, editor) Commercial Art, c.90 vol., plates and illustrations, original boards, rubbed, a few in dust-jackets, lightly rubbed, 1924-63; and others similar, 4to (c.100) *** An unusually large run of the annual magazine primarily known under the name 'Commercial Art', which showcased the best examples of graphic design from across the globe. The annual appeared under different titles from 1924-1991: originally starting as 'Posters and their Designers', before it became 'Art & Publicity' in 1925; the following year 'Posters & Publicity' until it continued in 1930 as 'Modern Publicity' and then 'The Annual of Art & Industry'; finally becoming 'World Advertising Review' until the publication ceased in 1991.
