Greece.- Lear (Edward) Views in the Seven Ionian Islands, first edition, tinted lithographed title and 20 plates, list of subscribers, some worming to margins, foxing, gutta percha perished, all plates and text loose in original cloth, upper cover lettered in gilt, covers a little marked, light rubbing to extremities, [Blackmer 987], folio, 1863. *** The drawings for this work were made in the spring of 1863, their publication being timed to take advantage of the cession of the islands by the British Government to Greece in 1864.
