GTR Lab ER4/E - Effect pedal (No reserve price)

Excellent and rare professional power attenuator from GTR Lab, model ER4 (with advanced Varislope Power Control circuitry and components). Entirely designed and built in Italy, this device is an essential element for guitarists who demand maximum from their tube amplifiers without compromising neighbor relations or hearing health. The GTR Lab allows you to push the output tubes of your amplifier (head or combo) to the ideal saturation point (the so-called "sweet spot"), achieving that warm sound, rich in harmonics and naturally compressed that only fully driven tubes can offer, while reducing the actual output volume to apartment- or studio-level levels. Main Technical Features: - Varislope Power Control: An exclusive technology that corrects the EQ curve as the signal attenuates, avoiding the loss of high and low frequencies typical of cheap attenuators. - Function Selector (Left): Allows you to disable the effect (OFF), set maximum attenuation (MAX), minimum attenuation (MIN), or switch to custom mode (MID). - Fine Adj Control (Right): Active in the "MID" position, enables precise and continuous volume adjustment to find the perfect acoustic balance in the room. - Construction: Sturdy metal chassis with a perforated top grille for excellent passive heat dissipation. GTR Lab attenuation products and systems are a gem of "Made in Italy" cherished by many professionals and session players in major Italian and European recording studios. Devices of this caliber and with this dynamic management philosophy (the Varislope dynamic slope control) are inspired by the great historical standards used in major mastering studios and by rock legends (such as the historic attenuation and filtering systems used by guitarists like Tom Scholz of Boston or in stadium-grade setups by Pink Floyd) to keep the sustain intact even at manageable stage volumes.
