The figure is executed with a serene, contemplative facial expression and an elaborate high coiffure surmounted by a small Amitabha Buddha figure. Her long, draped robes are rendered in a soft palette of green, aubergine, pale yellow, and black outlines, adorned with Buddhist symbols on the front and circular medallions featuring clouds and stylized birds across the reverse. Condition: Very good antique condition consistent with age and medium. Structurally sound with delicate and vulnerable areas—including the openwork basket handle, fingers of Guanyin, and limbs of the child—intact and undamaged. Natural, fine crazing to the glaze and enamel layers. The unglazed base displays characteristic firing traces and light natural patination.
