HALLOWEEN - Mahogany Obsidian Sphere Red Dappled Obsidian...

An exceptionally unique specimen, destined for the most demanding collectors or enthusiasts of prestigious minerals. A sphere of Mahogany Obsidian, the red-spotted variety, almost impossibly scarce due to its incredible quality. Masterfully polished to highlight the details of its intricate pattern and the depth arising from the strong color contrast, this precious collectible piece constitutes a truly unique attraction. Like all obsidians, the red variety is of volcanic origin. The red color is generally due to notable inclusions of iron oxide or copper, which form in the glass during the rapid cooling of lava. These peculiarities give the stone not only its characteristic red color but also a unique and variable appearance.
