Alla auktioner / Mattor & Textilier / Handwoven Designer Kilim - Modern - Kelim - 366 cm - 91 cm
This handwoven designer Kilim presents itself as an exceptionally long and narrow rug runner with a deliberately restrained, modern design. The subtle combination of light natural tones and gray-blue gives it a calm, timeless aura and makes it particularly versatile for contemporary living concepts. The surface is characterized by numerous fine, longitudinal lines and irregular weaving structures. Instead of classic oriental motifs, the textile texture itself takes center stage here. The delicate alternation between lighter and darker yarns creates a lively marling without compromising the minimalist overall impression. In terms of color, the Kilim mainly ranges from cream, off-white, light gray to muted gray-blue. This restrained palette pairs excellently with wood, stone, concrete, and white, gray, or natural-colored furniture. Thanks to its handwoven wool quality, the runner has a characteristic flat weave structure. Small deviations in the weave lines and surface pattern are part of the artisanal appearance and give each piece its individual character.
