Hanging lamp - Glass, Brass, Metal - Italian Design 1950s–1960s
Stunning octagonal pendant lamp in brass and frosted/faceted glass, made in Italy and attributed to the Fontana Arte style of the 1950s/60s. It features a geometric form with 24 glass panels of various shapes that are ground/faceted and transparent, topped by an additional square glass panel at the top that serves as the mounting for the light source and the chain. All mounted on a fantastic brass frame. Perfectly intact and in working order. No chips. No cracks. Normal light signs of wear consistent with the period. Total weight: 3.14 kg 1 E27 bulb Dimensions of the structural part only: H 26 cm. W 24 cm.
