HEDDON 177 CASTING MINNOW IN SLATE

HEDDON 177 CASTING MINNOW IN SLATE Blended White, Slate Back was a catalogued color on this model starting in 1910, and this example with stamped spinners would have been made from 1912-15. The Heavy Casting Minnow is essentially a five-hook body rigged with 3 heavy-duty hooks. These were intended for bigger fish, thus finding one in better condition can be a challenge. This example stands up to that challenge though, grading strong Excellent Minus with just a little varnish flaking, clean hardware, and good glass eyes. Item Dimensions: 3 - 3/4" Length.
