Condition Report: The canvas has been lined and there is a slight undulation to the surface. Stretcher marks visible. Various spots of retouching visible in a natural light throughout. There is a vertical line (approx. 4cm) of cracking and associated loss to the centre of the canvas (see online and catalogue illustrations). Some light surface dirt and superficial scratching throughout. Rubbing and abrasions including white scuffing, to the framing edges. Inspection under UV light reveals scattered retouching and in-filling throughout.
