Provenance: The Cooling Galleries, London Condition Report: The canvas does not appear to be lined but is providing good support. A small abrasion with an associated paint loss is present to the sky in the lower left quadrant. Occasional superficial scratches. Craquelure is present across the image but the surface appears to be largely stable. A small area of overpaint is visible in natural light just below the centre of the extreme left edge.
