Initially trained as a graphic designer at the Royal Academy of Visual Arts in Den Bosch, she developed a visual language in which order and irregularity challenge each other. Stehr plays with contrasts such as smooth and rough, edge and tear, strength and vulnerability. Her apparent simplicity is the result of careful consideration. The artist is regularly invited to exhibitions. Her work is in private collections in Europe and beyond.
