Historismus - Chamberstick - Cast brass

Luxurious altar candle holder. Material: brass (solid cast), patinated Style: Historicism (with Neo-Gothic elements and influences of Art Nouveau) Period: Circa 1900 (late 19th / early 20th century) Country of origin: France or Germany (Central Europe) Dimensions: Height: 28.5 cm (including the spike) Diameter at the top (drip tray): 8.5 cm Diameter at the bottom (foot): 11.8 cm (Note: In your specification you probably had 18.8 cm due to a typing error; visually proportionate, about 11.8 cm) Condition: Good, age-appropriate original condition with a beautiful patina. No major damage. Light surface scratches, minimal wax residues and manufacturing traces on the underside. On the stand ring there is a small, old repair/reinforcement (see close-up photo), which does not affect stability and underscores the authentic character.
