HONG KONG (SAR). Chartered Bank of India, Australia, & China. 10 Dollars, 1.8.1929. P-50. KNB26. PMG Choice Fine 15. A pleasing example of this large size 10 Dollars issued from 1911 until 1929. An immensely popular note and part of what local collectors nickname the 'Scenic' notes, issued by all three banks between 1909 and 1960 (if we extend this to the large size Mercantile $ 100 note as well). This note has undergone considerable circulation, as the grade would suggest, and is found with just minor annotations on the reverse. A decent, original, untampered vintage note.
