The image is printed on paper and subsequently mounted on a wooden panel. The panel is set within a distinctive frame composed of bands decorated with engraved motifs, embellished at the corners with four decorative studs, one of which is missing. The overall piece has a handcrafted and decorative character typical of Florentine production during the first decades of the 20th century. An interesting object for collectors of decorative arts, art reproductions and Florentine School craftsmanship from the early 20th century. The Icon measures 44 x 34 cm. Condition: Overall, the item is in very good condition, with some minor abrasions, small areas of paint loss, and slight discoloration in the lower part. One of the four corner studs is missing. The artifact is particularly interesting as an example of typical Florentine craftsmanship for cultural tourism created by local workshops and studios for the market of visitors and collectors of Italian "art souvenirs."
