Two very stylish Mushroom lamps (toadstool lamps) from the 1990s. They are two Ikea Kvintol B9503 lamps. The lamps are 33 cm high and the glass shade has a diameter of 26 cm. The weight of one lamp is about 1300 g. The lamps are around 30 years old and no longer in Ikea's collection. They are therefore increasingly rare and collector's items. These very nicely Scandinavian-designed lamps are conceived in the Art Deco style. The classic mushroom look with a modern Ikea feel is very attractive. The satin glass of the shades provides a particularly pleasant diffused light. It creates a very nice, evenly soft light. The lamps are not only beautiful in a living room, but also work very well as bedroom lamps. They fit into any kind of interior. The condition of the lamps is good. One lamp has a small chipped piece at the rim (likely from overtightening the metal holders). A photo shows that this spot is barely visible; especially when you place the chrome holder over that spot. There are hardly any signs of use otherwise. The shiny chrome in combination with the nicely figured beech wood is especially beautiful (see photos). With their modern design, these lamps also pair very well with classical furniture in a traditional interior (see photo), as a table lamp, desk lamp, but also as a bedroom lamp.
