Descriptio Fine wood with marquetry and gilt bronze details. Measures 84 x 117 x 55 cm. Three-drawer chest decorated with garlands, ribbons, and laurel wreaths inlaid in woods of varying shades. The veined marble top underscores the aristocratic character of the piece. The gilt bronze handles and mounts are crafted with great precision. A representative example of the Louis XVI style, which combines clean lines with classically inspired ornamentation.
