Italy - Medal - "Oro alla Patria! " 1935 Anno XIII E F

Medal with chain: "Gold to the Fatherland!" 1935 Year XIII, Fascist Era. ORIGINAL! This chain medal is from 1935, the year in which Italy was sanctioned by the League of Nations (the future UN) for having invaded Ethiopia. To cope with the economic strain, Italians were asked to donate their wedding gold band. Ceremonies were held all over the place. There is no ring, usually made of brass or iron, and it was connected to the small hook found on the chain. The material is brass. The overall condition is GOOD. The reverse is simple, a crown of palm leaves, symbol of Honor and Glory, ready to frame any eventual engraving; On the front, the face of Benito Mussolini, and his famous motto: CREDERE OBBEDIRE COMBATTERE There will also be sent a paper receipt that you see in the photo (obliterated only digitally, out of respect for privacy), useful for originality, and for the medal's blockchain. I ship, in Italy, with Poste Italiane’s Assicurata. For abroad, where possible, with Poste Italiane’s International Assicurata, or with International Registered Mail.
