Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J. K. Rowling, published by Bloomsbury in 2005. First edition, first British printing in English, hardcover with original dust jacket. Volume of 607 pages. Exemplar in as-new condition, very well preserved. Hardcover and dust jacket in excellent condition; interior clean, with no inscriptions, underlining or tears. Pages and binding excellently preserved. Please refer also to the photographs for a full assessment of the condition. Particularly interesting for collectors, this first printing features the well-known typographical error on page 99, line 9: the text reads “eleven ‘Outstanding’ O.W.L.s” (“eleven Outstanding O.W.L.s”), whereas the correct number is “ten.” The error was subsequently corrected in later print runs and is one of the distinctive details of the early Bloomsbury 2005 edition copies.
