This type of vase is an antique Japanese collar vase. Made in blue-and-white porcelain. Made in the Arita region in Japan. Vases from this region with this specific blue-and-white palette are internationally often categorized as Blue and White Imari. The vase dates from the Meiji period (around 1870–1910). The vase is hand-painted in a deep cobalt blue, traditional floral design with birds and flowers. The wavy collar (ruffled rim) at the top is characteristic of this model. The height is 32 cm, the width is 13 cm. The weight is 1,047 grams. This object is in excellent condition. The vase will be shipped carefully!
