Alla auktioner / Konst & Grafik / Jaume Ribas (1944) - Composición
This Jaume Ribas lithograph is a refined example of contemporary abstract graphic art, showcasing the artist's mastery of balance, texture and chromatic harmony. The composition is built through overlapped rectangular forms and subtle tonal transitions in warm ochres, earthy browns, and muted purples, creating a serene yet architectural visual rhythm. Ribas's work is known for its formal rigor and its poetic use of color, where transparency and overlapping planes generate depth and spatial tension. The surface reveals the tactile qualities inherent to the lithographic process, emphasizing the material richness and the precision that define his graphic production. Jaume Ribas has exhibited widely in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and the United States, and has participated in important national and international art fairs and salons such as Saga Paris, Art Cologne, and Artgràfic Barcelona. His works are part of major public and private collections, such as La Caixa, the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC), the British Museum, and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA). This lithograph represents an excellent opportunity to acquire a work by an artist with great international recognition and presence in museums, making it especially attractive to collectors of contemporary graphic art and abstract printmaking. A timeless and elegant piece, ideal for both private collections and modern interior spaces. If you detect any anomaly or issue, we invite you to contact us before publishing a negative review.
