He is best known for his creation of the "White Body" (the white silhouette of a man), which has become an iconic figure of urban art. This motif, which he began painting in 1983, represents a form of freedom and peace, and it is present all around the world, from the walls of Paris to the monuments of China. Mesnager aligns with the tradition of painters who use the city as a canvas, often in dialogue with other figures of the movement such as Blek le Rat and Banksy. Beyond his street work, Mesnager also exhibits in galleries, showing a broader range of techniques and subjects, while remaining faithful to his distinctive style and humanist messages. His work provokes reflection through its strong visual contrast and its commitment to raising questions about the human condition and society."
