Exceptional bronze-gold & gilt-bronze king and pieces chess set in golden bronze and tinplate, King 105 mm tall, pawns 75 mm. Delivered with a 45 x 45 cm square chessboard, each square 55 mm (included with the set), in its current condition. Material: the pieces are metal (gold-bronze and tin-plated). Dating from: 1970s/1980s. Origin country: Italy. Complete with the 32 pieces. Special feature: beautiful condition with some minor soiling and gilding wear. Felt pads under all the pieces. Wooden travel case but not original. The weight of the pieces alone is about 6.0 kg; shipping in two parcels. Special feature: stunning sculptural details on all pieces.
