Small 8vo: (10)152 pages and thereafter 206 unpaginated pages. Original leather with bands. Spine somewhat worn. At the top of the spine some leather missing. The book block was probably trimmed at some point and rebound into the cover. In front on the flyleaf there are still some old stamps from 1915 to about 1925 from readers, since this book was once in a library. The title page at the top shows moisture damage with some notes. See the photos. Sometimes here and there a few old pencil notes and old water stains. Binding and paper otherwise good. ** Johannes Dotingh was a 18th-century publisher and writer in Leeuwarden, known for the release of the historical work *Het verward Frieslandt* in 1749, in which the political unrest and events in Friesland in 1748 are described.
