Solid ash from local forests is carefully heated and shaped by hand into its distinctive flowing form, while precise joinery gives the piece lasting strength. Its soft curves create a sense of movement and give BENDER a light, almost effortless presence. More than a functional piece of furniture, it brings warmth, character and a subtle sense of playfulness into the room – an object designed to be lived with and enjoyed every day. The ash wood is carefully finished with a durable water-based lacquer, creating a smooth, refined surface while preserving the character of the solid wood beneath.
