Highly collectible original 1970 Japanese first pressing promo of John Mayall's Looking Back, issued on London Records under catalogue number SLC-286. This copy carries the Japanese 見本盤 promotional/sample marking on the label, identifying it as a copy manufactured for promotional distribution rather than normal retail use. Japanese promotional pressings are particularly appealing to collectors because they were distributed in much smaller quantities to radio stations, reviewers and industry contacts.
