JonOne – Rough, Rugged and Wild – 2026 Original screen print by JonOne, produced in 2 color passes with ink enriched with true gold powder, on 250 g Keaykolour paper. Format 50 × 70 cm. Limited edition of only 60 copies, numbered and hand-signed by the artist. With Rough, Rugged and Wild, JonOne delivers a particularly powerful composition, dominated by a spectacular contrast between the deep black background and the intensity of the gold ink. The gestures cross, overlap and fill the entire surface, in this free and energetic handwriting that has become immediately recognizable. The presence of real gold powder in the ink gives this edition a distinctive character: depending on light and viewing angle, the golden tracings reveal different nuances and enhance the depth of the composition. A key figure on the international graffiti scene, JonOne draws here directly on the energy of New York writing that has accompanied his work since his beginnings. The title Rough, Rugged and Wild perfectly translates this aesthetic: raw, spontaneous and decidedly urban. With its particularly limited edition of 60 copies, its large format of 50 × 70 cm, and the use of gold powder, this screen print makes a very beautiful edition of JonOne, as strong visually as it is representative of his artistic universe. Biography: JonOne (Franco-American, born in 1963 in New York), famous for graffiti-influenced works, was born in Harlem, where the art of colorful and elaborate graffiti evolves. He began creating, with a childhood friend, graffiti of his name from the age of 17. In 1984, he founded the Graffiti 156 All Starz collective to bring together graffiti artists' passion. After moving to Paris in 1987, he began working as a painter on canvas in a studio. He quickly made a name for himself in Parisian artistic circles thanks to his canvas works, and he was exhibited in 1990 at Gallery 45 in Berlin and participated in the Graffiti Paris exhibition, where his work is permanently showcased. His works have been among the most significant auction performances in the graffiti world.
