This painting presents a mountain landscape in which a small rural building appears in the foreground, surrounded by vegetation and open fields. The house, located toward the right, stands out with its walls in ochre and golden tones and its reddish roofs, which add warmth to the scene. Near it there are several conical shapes that resemble haystacks, while some green trees cluster on the left side. The overall impression is that of a quiet village settled in a high place with a broad view of the mountains. The foreground is formed by a strip of illuminated ground, with yellow, green and orange hues suggesting dry grass, sunlit fields and barely hinted paths. Light seems to traverse the landscape and highlight some areas with warm tones, creating a pleasant contrast with the cooler shadows that appear under the trees and on the slopes.
