Jörg Hermle (1936) - Scène

Born in Germany, in Berlin, in 1936, Jörg Hermle lived there until early 1945, with exception of two periods, to escape the bombs. One in the Black Forest in 1943 and the second at the beginning of 1944 in a village lost between the capital and the Baltic Sea, but in vain, for the bombardments did not spare these places of refuge. From the age of five the young Jörg had his first painting experience. He recounts the emotion he felt when “the red and green interlaced” and he adds that today these colors still give birth to his paintings. On a drawing covered by a transparent red ochre, once dry, he applies an emerald green glaze. The work will be delivered framed with its certificate on the back of the painting. It will be sent very quickly with the greatest care.
