Josep Vicenç Sola Andreu (1887-1960) - Reflejos en el Agua

Title: Reflections in the Water ㅤ School: European Impressionist School (20th century) ㅤ Style: Impressionism ㅤ Technique: Oil on canvas ㅤ State: Generally good overall condition. ㅤ Circle and artistic influence: The composition alludes to European Impressionist landscape painting and its interest in reflections on the water, light changes, and the dissolution of forms in the atmosphere. The vertical trees and their reflections acquire a prominent compositional role. ㅤ River or lake landscape with a small building situated by the water and surrounded by tall trees. The water surface diffusely reproduces the architecture and vegetation, forming the visual center of the work. The loose brushwork and the greenish-blue and ochre tones enhance the sense of humidity and calm. ㅤ Classic gilded frame, ornamented with vegetal reliefs and decorative moldings, which provides the whole with a traditional presentation. ㅤ Observations: ㅤ The work may sustain damages during transport even with proper packaging. In such a case, we will require photographs of the damages to proceed with compensation. Customer satisfaction is always our priority. ㅤ Exceptionally, shipping costs may be affected by a surcharge for causes such as being outside a continental territory, excessive dimensions or weight of the item. PremiArt will not assume this surcharge under any circumstances. ㅤ The courier crossing the Swiss border may experience much greater delays than normal, so, whenever possible to speed up processing, we will provide the Customs number that is holding the shipment so the customer can unlock it and thus ensure it reaches its destination. Experience has shown this to be the most effective solution for both parties. ㅤ Due to the high volume of shipments, it is possible that the order may be delayed by more than three days, for which we apologize and thank you for your patience.
