The leather ties to close the book have also been renewed. The first 6 pages come from another copy. The first 20 pages have been neatly restored. There were tears in those pages. Here and there there is a small tear in a page. But overall it is a beautiful and sturdy book block. The book contains many beautiful textual engravings. In short, a fine monumental historical work.
