Jovan Srijemac (1962) - Portrait of John Doe - XXl

A unique large abstract painting from the series 'Abstract Face', with a total canvas size (including extra white edges) 120 x 105 x 0.1 cm. The work was painted in 2026. The painting is shipped rolled, without a stretcher frame and without a frame. Once mounted on the frame, the canvas size (image) is 110 x 95 x 2 cm. In this work I released my deepest emotions, causing bold colors and strong brushstrokes to cross paths in a dynamic dance. From the chaos arises a sense of harmony. The work is painted with acrylic paint on XXL canvas. The paint is applied in expressive, dynamic layers across the canvas. The dynamism, expression, and freedom of the artist's artistic expression are clearly visible. NOTE: For buyers in the Netherlands who want to collect the painting themselves, it is possible, by arrangement and for a fee, to have the canvas stretched on the stretcher. Original, highly unique abstract-expressionist work by Dutch professional/contemporary artist (since the early 1980s) Jovan Srijemac (1962). This work fits well in a modern interior or office space. Condition: excellent, varnished, with a certificate of authenticity. The chaos of ideas that have arisen in my mind, the inner depleted energy, wants to erupt outward like a volcano, becoming an explosion and a symphony of colors on the canvas, framed by matter, figures, faces, or an abstract composition. From the unconscious, often chaotic and explosive application of paint on the canvas, initially unplanned figures, objects, portraits, or an abstract composition arise. As in the unplanned conception of a child: birth, growing up, to the formation of personality and its life. Often unintentionally conceived, we are born, we grow up, and we are all framed in the body, our frame, but each is unique in its own way.
