Alla auktioner / Samtida Konst / JP Art - Reachng Beyond
Reaching Beyond is a sculptural mixed-media artwork by JP Art in which a human torso and a detached reaching hand literally protrude from the canvas. The powerful three-dimensional forms strongly stand out against the deep black background. Through the rough, expressive finish of the figure the work gains a weathered, lived-in character. Depending on the light, different shadows continually arise, further emphasizing the depth and texture of the piece. The open space between the body and the hand is deliberately part of the composition. The image evokes associations with distance, longing, connection, and the attempt to reach something that seems just out of reach. Title: Reaching Beyond Artist: JP Art Technique: Sculptural mixed media on canvas Execution: Handmade and hand-finished Frame: Delivered without a frame Certificate: Includes a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist Due to its three-dimensional character, the work can look different from every viewing angle and under different lighting conditions. The interior photos are for atmosphere only. Colors and proportions may vary slightly from the original artwork due to photography, lighting, and screen settings.
