Junghans FORM C Chronoscope – Ref. 041/4770.00 – Full Set Offered is an elegant Junghans FORM C Chronoscope, reference 041/4770.00, in a particularly classic combination of a white dial, polished stainless steel case, and black leather strap. The FORM C combines the minimal German design language typical of Junghans from the Max Bill era with the functionality of a chronograph. Especially beautiful is the three-dimensionally appearing, inwardly curved dial with its characteristic square-embossed minute track. Despite its many functions, the design remains exceptionally clear and balanced. The stainless steel case has a diameter of 40.0 mm with a comfortably slim height of only 10.5 mm. This makes the chronograph feel elegant and comparatively slender on the wrist despite its sporty functionality. The dial is protected by a high-quality flat sapphire crystal. The case back is screwed, and the watch is water resistant to 5 bar according to the manufacturer. Inside works the Junghans quartz movement J645.85. It offers, in addition to hours and minutes, a small seconds hand, date display, and the Chronoscope function with a central chronograph second and 30-minute/12-hour counters. The finely electroplated dial harmonizes excellently with the slim hands and the minimalist design. The hour and minute hands have luminous material. The date display is discreetly at 3 o’clock, while the two sub-dials are arranged vertically. Completing the watch is a black leather strap with the original Junghans stainless steel tang buckle. The leather strap shows only minor signs of wear. Especially attractive is the extensive original delivery contents. In addition to the watch, the offer includes the original Junghans box, instruction manual for the caliber J645.85, warranty documents, and the Junghans cleaning cloth.
