Biography: Jürgen Angeler studied communication and media design, which laid the foundation for his artistic path. He began painting in 2014 and had his first exhibition participations. In 2015 followed the first solo exhibition. Since then, he has continuously developed his technique. Several exhibitions and workshops have followed to date. Angeler pays particular attention to Informal Painting, a form of modern art that emerged in the 1940s/1950s. The interplay of spontaneity (impulse) and chance (drip painting, rake-off) plays a decisive role. At the end of the creative process is a finished painting that expresses the tension built up during the process. Jürgen Angeler looks back on successful exhibitions in Germany, Italy, and Austria.
