He began painting in 2014 and had initial exhibition participations. In 2015 followed his first solo exhibition. Since then, he has continually developed his technique. Several exhibitions and workshops followed to date. Special attention is given by Jürgen Angeler to Informal Painting, a form of modern art that emerged in the 1940s/1950s. The blend of spontaneity (impulse setting) and chance (drip painting, squeegee marks) plays a decisive role. At the end of the creative process is a finished painting that expresses the tension built up during the process. Jürgen Angeler looks back on successful exhibitions in Germany, Italy and Austria.
