Luca Nunzio is a visionary luthier who pushes the aesthetic and structural boundaries of the classical guitar through continuous experimentation and in-depth study, which he then translates into articles published monthly on his website. "La Trentina" was built entirely by hand using exclusively chisels, rasps, and hand planes. No CNC machinery or automated processes were employed in its creation. "La Trentina" has been meticulously designed to meet the most complex technical and expressive needs of contemporary classical guitarists. The aim with this instrument was to merge two seemingly distant acoustic and performance realms: structurally, the guitar maintains extraordinary lightness and immediate, almost explosive, responsiveness typical of flamenco guitars. At the same time, it preserves in full the tonal depth, long sustain, and polyphonic clarity expected from a true concert classical instrument. This delicate and perfect acoustic balance is not by chance but achieved through a careful, selective gradient of the soundboard thickness. Each piece of wood is artisanally calibrated to maximize vibrational freedom where needed, without compromising stability. This is complemented by a custom internal lattice system designed to be extremely responsive.
