Kasai Massana (1975) - THE METAPHYSIC DREAM OF ULYSSES .ll.

THIS IS NOT A DIGITAL PRINT. This work unifies the two visions of abstraction I have developed so far. Based on Homer's Iliad. It is a tribute to de Chirico which, in my opinion, encompasses surrealist abstraction in terms of formal discourse. Abstract landscape that explores the relationships of being with its environment through the interaction of the visual symbolic language and its title. It is painted with acrylic, ink and enamels to achieve a richness of textures that accentuate the character and consistency of the composition. The work seeks visual balance and uses color as a catalyst that unifies the whole. Joy of living. Painted completely by hand, I seek the complicity of the viewer as they lose themselves in the search for connections between the shapes and the subconscious. Kasai Massana (1975). I was born in Cuba where I studied at the National School of Art of Havana; my relationship with painting has been intermittent over the years. I have done mural works in Italy and Spain, the country where I currently reside. I like art that invites thinking but I also feel comfortable and greatly enjoy abstraction. The work does not seek perfection in the execution of the stroke; it is the human pulse, it is not a digital print; it seeks beauty through the harmonious conjunction of color, composition and the design structure to evoke in the viewer reflective moments and dormant emotions. My works are in private collections in Spain, Italy, Mexico, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Portugal, Belgium, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Sweden, Greece, Denmark, UK, Austria, Taiwan, Croatia, Slovakia, Luxembourg, Ireland, Romania, Lithuania and the United States. The work will be professionally shipped by a transport company with a tracking number. (DHL EXPRESS with delivery in 2 business days). Edges painted. A protective varnish will be applied. READY TO HANG.
