Sold with its original certificate of authenticity issued by the publisher, dated 6 May 1988. The certificate is included in the lot and is shown in the photographs. Acquired from a gallery and kept since then in its original frame (float mount under a mat). The work has not been examined outside its frame. No condition issues were noted during an examination by a Paris auction house. The yellow ground may appear slightly less saturated than in certain catalogue reproductions.
