Alla auktioner / Samtida Konst / KIRAS - BOOM! POP!
“BOOM!” is a visual explosion signed by KIRAS, an Italian artist of contemporary pop-design, recognized for her vibrant, tactile, instantly recognizable language. An artwork that does not merely decorate: it bursts into the space, lights it up, and transforms it into a pop set where color, energy, and irony coexist in perfect balance. The base is built in yellow and red plexiglass, a double luminous layer that amplifies the comic-book effect and creates a bright halo around the composition. It’s not a simple support: it’s a scenographic backdrop, a graphic explosion that recalls comics and pop culture, reinterpreted with a contemporary aesthetic. Above this base, the word BOOM! comes to life in 3D bioplastic, a plant-based material chosen for its sustainability and for its ability to render intense colors, soft surfaces, and perfect volumes. Each letter is a small pop universe: patterns, hearts, stars, lines, and details that tell the playful energy of the artist. With its 80 × 50 cm size and a depth of 6.5 cm, the artwork has a strong scenographic presence. Hung on the wall via the rear pre-drilled holes, it immediately becomes the focal point of the room. It is perfect for modern living rooms, creative studios, bright entryways, minimal spaces wanting a touch of character, or colorful spaces seeking an iconic element. The combination of fluorescent plexiglass and bioplastic creates a luminous effect that changes with natural light, making the work lively and dynamic. As with all of KIRAS’s works, “BOOM!” is entirely produced by the artist: design, printing, assembly, and finishing are done by hand, with an artisanal process that requires time and precision. For this reason, production is limited to only 10 pieces, a choice that guarantees exclusivity, rarity, and collectible value. The small variations due to manual processing are not flaws, but distinctive marks of the artist’s direct intervention. KIRAS shows in galleries and contemporary art fairs, and her works are sought after by collectors who appreciate originality, sustainability, and a fresh, recognizable pop-design aesthetic. The piece comes with a certificate of authenticity and the artist-branded box, a guarantee of provenance and quality. Indoor use. Avoid excessive heat sources. Clean exclusively with a cotton cloth, without detergents, to maintain the brilliance of the plexiglass and bioplastic. Shipping with courier.
