Kralik - Wilhelm Kralik Sohn - Vase - 5098/6 - Crystal - Cut to Clear

I am selling a part of a glass collection. Do take a look at my other listings as well. A beautiful and rare antique crystal vase from the famous Bohemian glass manufacturer Wilhelm Kralik Söhne. This specific model (Product number 5098/6) dates from around 1935 and is a documented collectable that is exactly the same as shown in the original Kralik paper catalog from that era. A photo of it is part of the description and also serves as confirmation as evidence. Features & Specifications: - Manufacturer: Wilhelm Kralik Söhne (Bohemia / Czech Republic) - Model: 5098/6 (Documented in the historical factory catalog) - Year of production: 1930s (ca. 1935) - Height: 31 cm (an impressive, large size) - Diameter: 11 cm (both the opening at the top and the base) - Weight: 767 grams - Material: Ruby red overlay crystal glass (cut-to-clear) Design & Technique: The vase is executed in a deep ruby red color. With the traditional and highly refined cut-to-clear technique, the red top layer is manually carved away. This reveals the clear glass underneath, creating a stunning contrast. The design combines geometric facets on the top and base with an elegant, hand-cut floral and star motif in the center. Light plays beautifully through the glass, giving the vase a luxurious appearance. Condition of the object: The vase is in an excellent vintage condition. The glass is clear, the facets are razor-sharp, and there are no chips, cracks, or notable damages. A unique opportunity for the serious collector of Art Deco glassware or Bohemian crystal.
