The eighth Tintin album 'The Crab with the Golden Claws' is offered, in the very first edition from 1947. The first edition (in the Ottens catalog: 1.1) can be recognized on the one hand by the back cover A46, and on the other by the four descending color plates that each fill the entire page. In later editions or from the second printing onward, the four special large drawings are framed, and otherwise redesigned as well. Condition: very good. The cover is very neat, as is the spine. The edges show slight wear. The corners, especially the outer corners, are a bit worn. The book block is also very well preserved, with minimal reading creases and some discoloration here and there.
