Labelled Georges Chanot - - Violin - Unknown

Hello, dear customer. You have here the possibility, to buy an old violin with label inside. On the pictures is to be seen, that it is an old and nice instrument. It is a full size violin (whole length: 592 mm, body: 358 mm, upper bouts: 163 mm; middle bouts: 128 mm; lower bouts: 211 mm) with label: Georges Chanot a Paris Annee 1852 The violin is in a very good condition, but there is one repaired crack on the violin!!! Violins and bows described as 'certified' or 'attributed' include images of their certificates and are therefore considered to have a higher degree of documented certainty regarding maker, origin, and age than instruments described only as 'labelled' (violins) or 'stamped' (bows), for which we provide no guarantee of any kind
