Lamp - Alpine green

Elegant French lamp from the Napoleonic III period, datable to the second half of the 19th century. The central structure is made of Verde Alpi marble, with the characteristic dark green tone and natural veining and shading. The oval body is complemented by metal elements with a bronze finish, in an ornamental style typical of French production of the era. The lid features an elegant decorative pinecone-shaped finial, while at the top there are supports for the burners. The raised base completes the whole, giving it elegance and stability. An interesting antique item, transformed in the 1960s into a table lamp; the wiring/installation would need to be redone. It is particularly suitable for interior decorators and collectors of 19th-century French decorative objects. Era: Napoléon III, second half of the 19th century. Provenance: France.
