Sterling silver pendant necklace "Barbarella", designed by Björn Weckström for Lapponia Jewelry, Finland, 1973. Crafted in sterling silver (925), the large sculptural pendant features an abstract human figure perched above a stark, barren landscape — a deeply evocative composition characteristic of Weckström's signature modernist and space-age aesthetic. The pendant measures 8.5 cm in height and 5.1 cm in width, suspended on its original silver chain of 49 cm. Total weight 55.5 g. Hallmarked 925 Lapponia. Very good vintage condition, consistent with age and use. From a private collection, acquired as a family gift and carefully kept for several decades.
