Ca. AD 1400. A silver ring with a D-section hoop supporting a broad flower-shaped bezel plate with a scalloped edge. The face is engraved with a central rosette enclosed by a circular band and surrounded by radiating petal-like motifs. Size: D:18.95mm / US: 9 / UK: R 1/2; Weight: 9.9g Provenance: From a London private collection; purchased in Germany; earlier part of a Swiss collection assembled in the 1990s
