She sat on the edge of the pool, arms around her knees, in the shade of the beams. Below, the cliff; ahead, the sea to the horizon. The black swimsuit is still wet, the pool water motionless. She has just swum, or she won’t go. The black sunglasses settle the question. Around her, the most beautiful landscape possible—and she looks at her feet. Shadows and sunlight bands cut cleanly on the concrete, sea in swathes of layered blues with no mixing. The reflection of the figure in the water is painted looser than the figure itself: it is what gives the depth. Le Yack, emerging French pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, called Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he joined the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) of Orléans.
