Lenz 0 - 40163-03 - Diesel-hydraulic locomotive (1) - BR 216 "Lollo" with full sound, digital couplings and changing engineer - DB Serial number V160 002 Tested and working Digital address 3 with full sound Front and rear signals switch with direction of travel 4 axles driven Engineer figure changes with direction of travel Cabin lighting Digitally controllable couplings After the successful V200, in the mid-1950s a single-engined diesel locomotive was planned to replace the still numerous steam locomotives of series 03, 23, 38 and 50 on non-electrified lines. The nine pre-production models produced by Krupp still had a rounded front (which gave the locomotive the nickname "Lollo"), which in series production was replaced by the angular shape that was easier and cheaper to manufacture. The V 160 was powered by a 1,900 hp 16-cylinder engine from Mercedes-Benz or Maybach. From 1964 the V 160s were built by Krupp, Henschel, KHD, Krauss-Maffei and MaK. We strongly advise collecting this lot rather than shipping, due to the high fragility of this model. Shipping is possible but at the buyer's risk. Photos are part of the description Locomotives have a 1-month warranty after purchase. In case of defect within 1 month from the Netherlands, return at no cost. All packages are sent registered and insured.
