Lindstrom - Bengt Lindström – Sala Gaspar, Barcelona – 1986 - 1970s

Bengt Lindström – Sala Gaspar, Barcelona – 1986 – Original exhibition poster Original period poster created for the Bengt Lindström exhibition held at Sala Gaspar in Barcelona between January and March 1986. The exhibition took place from January 16 to March 8, 1986 and gathered paintings by the artist on canvas and paper. The poster reproduces an intense expressionist composition characteristic of Lindström, executed with energetic strokes and a powerful combination of reds, greens, blues, blacks and yellows. At the bottom the printed elements include the artist’s name, the months “Gener–Febrer”, Sala Gaspar and its historic address on Calle Consell de Cent in Barcelona. The signature “Lindström” and the date 1985, visible within the reproduced image, are part of the poster’s print. It is not hand-signed. Original 1986 copy, printed on paper and kept unframed. Good condition for its age. It shows no tears, holes, tape, stains or restorations. Some creases and handling marks are visible, especially in the upper left corner, clearly shown in the photographs. The photographs are part of the description and show in detail the condition of the poster and its reverse. A large-format piece with strong visual impact, especially interesting for collectors of Bengt Lindström, European expressionism, and original exhibition posters from the historic Sala Gaspar of Barcelona. Dimensions: 86 × 50.6 cm. It will be carefully shipped rolled and protected inside a rigid tube.
